This is a TED video where Joel Levine presents his case for why we should focus on exploring Mars again. I got goosebumps watching this because I believe, one day, this will happen. We’ve got some serious issues on this planet, but there’s no denying that what we find on Mars will change our thoughts on life and the universe. During this talk, Levine discusses a few anomalies surrounding Mars:
- They have discovered significant amounts of methane in Mars’ atmosphere. This is important because on Earth, over 95% of the methane in our atmosphere is created by small bacteria-like organisms. Where does Mars’ methane come from then?
