This post is especially noteworthy for people who went to (a very unique and liberal private school in Atlanta, Georgia) because it concerns an alumni making TIME magazine.

For those that were friends with Nick Kocher and remember his Monday Morning Meetings or his general behavior, this probably comes as no surprise. There was something about Nick that made you feel he was destined to be in front of a camera, making people think and laugh.

An early example of his talent is the speech he gave at the senior dinner on the night of graduation, . In this speech, Nick catalogs his awkwardness and why everyone shouldn”t try to be an individual, but should rather conform to what society wants you to be. The content and the way he delivers the speech highlight his writing and performing skills and his comfort in front of people.

Since then he has teamed up with Brian McElhaney to form , a group which has posted a number of videos over the internet. Their latest sketch, which has gained them an appearance in TIME magazine, is a combination of themes and elements from past Oscar-winning movies wrapped into one (Rain Man, A Beautiful Mind, Forrest Gump, The Shawshank Redemption, and Good.Will.Hunting). The video has been viewed over 600,000 times on Cracked.com and another 250,000 times on YouTube.
