“I recently moved to Atlanta, Ga., from Washington, D.C. I love Atlanta, but there are definitely aspects about this city that are challenging — especially compared to living in D.C. For instance, you have to drive everywhere here. You don’t need a car at all to live comfortably in D.C. Now, I live in an Atlanta neighborhood that is fairly walkable, but even living here I have to get in a car or a bus to go the nearest grocery store. And that’s another challenge: finding a local, eco-friendly grocery store. Forget about trying to find one that you can walk to.”
